Urban Escape

The elderflower champers is definitely ready. It announced this itself in grand style by exploding all over the shed. Thankfully I put it in plastic bottles so there was only a big puddle to mop up. The bottle that went pop exploded with such force it actually melted! Glad I wasn’t in there when it went.

The elderflowers are early this year. I’m still drinking last years champers and I’ve already started this year’s lot off. I’ve done my usual recipe of a couple of pounds of sugar, a bag of elderflowers, a dash of cream of tarter, a couple of tangerines (couldn’t find a lemon), all in three gallons of water. [...]
