The Chubblies@19G update
Well 2012 has come in with a bang, my employer or should I correctly say my ex-employer decided at the end of January to enforce retirement upon me by making me redundant after nearly twenty years loyal service.
So with two and a half years to go until the official retirement age hopefully we can make ends meet and enjoy what we have and turn it into a bonus.
The upside to this means we can now spend much more time on the Lotti and I for one am looking forward to that prospect with eager anticipation.
We have also got a new addition to the family by way of a little four legged friend called Buddy;
He is only just old enough to go out now and has had his first “walkies” this weekend. However being a Terrier crossbreed he is extremely energetic and already he has displayed extreme pleasure in digging up the remains of last year’s tomato plants and radishes in the garden.
We are hopeful of turning this to our advantage and training him to distinguish between weeds and vegetables !!!!!

I am sure you will appreciate time together and cherish each day… in the fresh air and the healthy food you are growing .. being together all that matters..

Sorry to here of your redundancy Peter, I know how you feel in some respects as I was made redundant myself, but in the end it is their loss. Having an allotment really helped me and if you are like me you will end up spending most of your time in the allotment and the rest of the time planning the allotment
By the way your dog is so cute. My dog helps dig up the potatoes, but pinches tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, peas, cauliflower, broccoli, she’s not fussy lol
